I thought I heard that originally they planned on building alot more houses and then reduced the quantity. My information might be wrong but I think whatever happens eventually there will be way more houses than what is shown on the pdf.

It looks like the pdf siteplans for all the communities were created by someone different each time...maybe we got the slow guy!

Hey PdfGuy...get yer ass in gear! :D

I wouldnt think it is intentional, the sales office siteplan is up-to-date.

Maybe the pdf guy is out digging holes before the ground freezes...

Hey There!

There are about 1000 homes to be built in the survey. As for the missing homes in the pdf.....we bought in phase four but they have moved us to phase 3. I think I need to change my user name! Our move in date is now July 15 of next year, much closer than mar 2010! I'm not sure if they are moving everyone out of Phase 4 or just our block or what?! But perhaps that's why the pdf hasn't been changed?

In case anyone is interested, if you click the button below the site plan on the website that says "Click to Enlarge" it links here (http://mattamyhomes.com/uploadedFiles/Communities/mill_pond/Homes_For_Sale/Site_Plan.pdf), which for some reason is a more updated version of the site plan, although it still does not currently show new location of the townhomes that were moved to just north of Henwood.

Anyone no how many house's are going to be built in the millpond?

I read in the paper that there was "910 new famlies" but with the change from 34 to towns we might be looking at about 950 houses.

Yes. Mattamy builds a house on schedule as if it were sold already, and then will sell it as an 'Inventory Lot' at a slight discount, however choices such as the interior options and floor/tile/cabinet/counter top selections will be made by the design consultants instead of the home buyer, depending on how far into the timeline the lot is sold.

When we bought our first house we got a real bargain this way. Actually it was a model house and our timing was perfect. We told them we could move in within 2 weeks and we got $44K in upgrades for about $22K. Of course they'd already made their money back with all the traffic that went through the house and they had very few houses left to sell and just wanted to be done with it.

Inventory lots are a great way to get a good deal if you don't want to wait and you like the house the way it is.
