Hey Brian,

I already posted it in another thread

http://www.millpondpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32

I found it a couple weeks ago. And they've been "spamming" kijjii with posts regarding the rental.

Yea, that guy is spamming kijjii with posts updated weekly (sometimes daily) about his lease/rental.

I think it's ridiculous that this guy is charging most likely more than his mortgage for this property (Well I guess we all have to make money somehow.)

but who would rent that? you could rent a nice condo downtown for that price...

I don't know who would rent that.

Plus, I would much rather pay towards my own mortgafe instead of someone else's for that price!

Depends on how much they put down as a deposit. Net/net, they own the home and are having renters pay their mortgage. A lot of people do that now. Think though... those renters would pay $1,650/month rent + HYDRO + GAS + PHONE/CABLE + HOT WATER TANK + RENTER INSURANCE + whatever else. That's a lot of money just to rent. I wouldn't do that; but unless these renters can't get a mortgage... then they rent to live in a nice house. Who knows!!
