Has anyone been able to negotiate the pricing for their upgrades? If you were successful, what was your strategy? I hear that Mattamy is resistant to negotiations.
I spent almost $100K on upgrades including the structural stuff. No discounts other than the 25% credit we got to spend on additional upgrades based on the structural upgrades we did when we first purchased the house.

100k! Holy KC You are a highroller! Go big or Go Home! Guess you did both!:)
Huh ... and as soon as we move in we're finishing the rest of the basement ... that's another $30K. I'm not a high roller ... I'm just going broke.
We plan to live there for the next 20 years and our son will be able to live with us much longer since he'll have his own apartment downstairs. He also works in our family business which we run from home. Having his own space will give him the independence he's desperate for and I get to keep my baby close.
I don't make small moves ... I hate packing. Before we bought our current house we lived in a really crummy apartment for over 10 years. When the water guy came to do his regular delivery he asked me if I'd won the lottery since where we moved to was so much nicer than where we lived before.
We had considered moving to Milton 5 years ago but the value just wasn't there. I figure I was deprived for 5 more years so I've earned this!
