Hi everyone,

I was wondering what cabinet colours people are choosing who are not using the Monterry Cocoa,,,,,,,,,,,,and what hardwood floor options people are picking to go with it..........

We're going with Monterray Clove cabinets and mirage vienna maple floors.

I may decide to go with Cocoa Cherry Manhattan. The Cocoa stain is darker with the cherry than the maple....unfortunately, the cherry is a upgrade :( I had to go to the Aya sales centre to see the colour of the Cocoa cherry as I couldn't see it at the Mattamy sales centre.

Sorry JRB, we're cocoa maple as well but upgrading to the NewHaven raised panel door. No hardwood to go with it...spent my allowance on the cabinet doors! :o

i think most homes will have cocoa maple monterry cupboards.....and possibly vienna floors [matching colour]

My design appointment is Feb 27...I guess i will have to decide by then....................

Doesnt anyone like the hardwood in the Greenway model...........in Bruce it is Saddle Dundee plank...lol

jrb,
Mattamy gave you alot of notice for your design appointment. I've received no notice and my closing date is less than 8 months. Have you had the structural appt yet? Good choice for the cabinets...I like the Montery style as well

very Very nice but I would go on record as saying that those cupboards and that whole kitchen will cost you mega bucks! But I say i would go for it because the kitchen is one of the major selling points of any home if you eventually plan on moving! Its best to invest there becasue it retains its value!

well that looks like ebony maple, maybe a charlston or windsor door, that would be a series 5 door

about 4000$ extra on our model (greenway) so very expensive no, cheap no

We decided to go all out with our kitchen and went with a series 6 door in Mushroom

Brian,

Have you picked out your upgrades yet ie. cupboard colour, hardwood if you are using it.

I still cant decide Vienna hardwood with cocoa monterry cupboards......or cinnamon monterry cabinets and the colorado Mirage hardwood floor...LOL

90% of people i know say go with the dark chocolate brown, I just wonder if you would get tired of it or if it will be a passing trend.

I want dark hardwood so my choices are the dark honey oak [colorado] or the vienna......

This kitchen was taken off a website for a Mississauga home Selling for $650,000 but if i could come close to anything that looks like that would be great.

im a huge fan of granite in the kitchen as well and I personally prefer a mirror backsplash as it shows the kitchen great!
