If I go along 401, I would exit at Hurontario.
I think there's some opps here with a few folks to carpool.
Even if we all drive to work Monday a.m., then Monday night all but 1 leaves their car at carpool and for the rest of the week we shall sing together in harmony (or be really grumpy if you're not a morning person) on the way to work!!!

and my boyfriend works by 401 and Mississauga Rd.

Im at Royal Windsor and Winston Churchill... wifes by the airport

Ive planted the seed to set me up with a home office since all I need is the net, phone and fax to do my job properly... fingers crossed.

I told them I wouldnt commute more than 2-3 times a week but want the full time home office

I WISH! My company would NEVER let us have a home office. Sucks big time. It's really surprising to hear how many of us are doing the commute. Well worth the drive to Cambridge!

I do have it lucky in that I can do my job from home without missing a beat at all. Just need long distance plan set up since 85% of phone calls are to or from the US or overseas... and internet correspondence... and I dont need to be seen unless the Prez wants an update meeting or something...

wife on the other hand can't... but I think she'll start looking for work in the area.

I commuted from Miss to downtown TO for 2 years and it was the worst :mad:

IF gas prices keep going down it will be OK...

also heard that sometime down the road they'll be extending the Milton GO to Cambridge... they might have to as people start moving further west to find the 'new MIlton'

Hey,
looks like theres a few others like myself moving to cambridge from brampton. Carpooling sounds like a great idea, especially with the cost of gas, it would sure help with bills. I work near queen & kennedy 7am-3:30. The close on my townhouse is dec. 09.

Marsha and i both will be heading to Brampton! Her to Mclaughlin and Williams and me to Airport and Steeles!
I have thought about finding something closer to home as well heck maybe even in guelph or Milton! We shall see! Either way I would wager that a good part of the community will be making the commute into the GTA! If so will make the weekend community time even better!

I'm also hoping for the 'work from home most of the time' situation. It's looking good! But when I have to go into work it's:........King & Yonge.......yuck. All you people who work in Mississauga are lucky :)
