Cyrus Owners - Stairs

I know 2 different owners who purchased the Cyrus townhouse model and have not been able to move their queen size box spring up the stairs. Are there any other Cyrus owners who had problems moving their queen size bed upstairs?

Yessir. I actually had to break the boxspring and I beat the hell out of the ceiling and the wall. Messedupthe stucco,the cornerbead was completely demolished lol. Pretty poor design flaw there, i could understand if it were a king size

Do you guys have the Ensuite model?

They did not have the ensuite model. I wonder if Mattamy is aware of this design flaw?

Future homeowners of the Cyrus model should be aware of this problem.

Just get queen split boxsprings. They are about $80 a set from the Bay at cambridge centre.

Yep we had this problem too! Ours is a Dickson, but the stair layout is identical. We got ours up but damaged the ceiling. It was on our 30 day but they did a bad job fixing it. It's really hard to patch the california knockdown.

Oh, great. I close on my Dickson in May. I have a queen size box spring. At least I'm forewarned but not really happy that I will wreck my brand new home if I try & move my bed into it. Anybody need a queen box spring??!
