I got a letter in the mail stating that the developer has now reached majority closing and is obligated to "turnover" the corporation to the control of the owners.
The turnover meeting will be Wed. Feb 24....at the Holiday Inn.
Hopefully the majority of owners turn up.
The letter talks about "the quorum for transaction of business at a meeting of owners is 25% of the owners present by person or proxy". Maybe this means that if less than 25% of people turn up for the meeting, that Mattamy will continue to run the condo.

There is a clause in the letter that states "each person has the right to appoint a person to represent him/her at the meeting if he/she is unable to attend. - there is a proxy form.
The meeting isWed. Feb. 24 , registration at 7:30.
The location is the Holiday Inn on Holiday Inn Drive.

I hope theres a good turn out. There are some issues that need to be resolved.

We can ask for clarification on the issue of the condo fees going up next year for one thing......lol
I would like to ask about parking as well.
Danny, if you want i can pick you up.........no point in everyone driving over on their own. We just need enough people to show up, that will be the issue.....lol

Hi Claudia,
I think they have started to ticket cars parked on the street in phase 6. I noticed some of your sons neighbours are parking in their garages now. I walked by one car and their was a ticket on the windshield.....
