Does anyone know what is the best way to clean the top of a stove that is ceramic/glass or what ever it is.

It looks great, but the other week i was making rice and a grain of the dry rice fell onto the top of the burner area and left a mark. Should I assume this mark will be permanent or is there a way to clean the top.

The top is nice and black and shinny, but dont let anything spill on it....lol

Its pretty hard and near impossible to permanently stain the top of a smooth top range. Simply by some cerama-brite from your local grocery store or home depot and that should work. If it is on there really good, get the razor blade scraper and that will definately do the trick!

This is what we have done and it comes out looking great - I will warn you though, it's not hard to scratch the surface (I did with a roasting pan) and that will not come out, no matter what you use.
