Has anyone been to the design centre lately? Are all the kitchen cbinent samples in yet? Does anyone know if we can request a cabinent finish from Aya that is not included in the samples?
I have been to the design centre twice and both times they did not have all the kitchen cabinent samples in stock. No one seemed to know what cabinent selections are still yet to arrive or if we have the choice of other cabinents that are not availabe in the design centre but are available at Aya. I was told that special orders cannot be made - but I have read from the Milton Mattamy message boards that they could choose anything from Aya not just what was at their design centre. I have my heart set on glazed latte cabinents but there are no samples at the design centre and they don't know if they will be available. They told me that Aya decides on what is available to us. I spoke to a sales rep at Aya and they did not know what was on the availability list. My orientation will be a long way away and no one seems to want to answer my questions until then which I find very frustrating. The kitchen is the one area of the house where I am willing to spend a lot of money upgrading. If they don't offer what I want then I may take their standard kitchen selections and gut the place  when I move in so I can get what I want - may be it will be less expensive too (although inconvenient).
