Black vs White (Fridge, Stove, Dishwasher)

We're going with stainless because my sister-in-law works at an appliance company and she gets the biggest discounts on stainless. If I wasn't going with stainless, I would go with white. I've seen all black appliances in homes before and I thought they looked tacky and cheap. Just my opinion.

I prefer the black to white appliances.
I've always had white in my parents house (well white and that lovely almond colour LOL)
Stainless is nice, but the price tag and fingerprints would drive me nuts!

for us its black... personally ever place I've rented has had white, and I want done with them, lol...

think they blend in nicer with our choice of colours too.

dont think appliances should be a focal point in a kitchen, rather an accesory

We prefer black also as its what we currently have, and will go nice with our black microwave over the stove! I just think the black flows better with our styles not to mention the mirrored blacksplash that we get! It gives the kitchen definition and think it will flow good with the granite choice also!
But really its personal preference! Stainless steel is nice too but for the kids fingerprints so thats out! :)

i work in a cleanroom at work so i hate looking at Stainless that all i see all day lol. One good thing is that Stainless is Microbe repelling and keeps bacteria and germ contamination to a low level.

we use Weiman Stainless Steel Wipes

these things are magical, takes 20 seconds to wipe the fridge and all those fingerprints disapear, and it polishes the surface too

you can buy those at Zellers, 30 wipes for 9$
