We will most likely have our design upgrades meeting sometime in the next few months and wanted to know how much the series 2 and series 3 cabinets (first 2 upgrade levels) for a 34' foot home ended up costing some of you?

we got series 3 and they were about $1200 for the kitchen and 500ish for each bathroom. If you modify the cabinets (angled corner, pots and pans drawers etc) it costs about $150 more for each additional item. series 4, according to our consultant, would have been $3000. each step you go up, I believe the price doubles.

Thanks for the info. Its nice to see that series 3 is only $1200 extra. So that helps out. I just wanted to know ahead of time so we know what we are in for. Also the $150 per extra item is reasonable as well.
Style, we got the thompson elev a.
Btw, how much is the shelve unit at the end of the breakfast bar like what the model (thompson) has and how much for a single door pantry at the end where the fridge goes? I hear that is expensive.

those are just estimates from what I rememember.... I got a hillcrest so it may be different for a thompson. I don't remember an option for a single door pantry in my book, but to add the pantry to the hillcrest I think was about 1500$

Can't be done (as far as I know) its all a package deal:
- the shelf unit and extended bar
- the triple pantry
- the banquette seating
It is called a "Family Kitchen" and the basic upgrade for the Ultra 1 cabinets is/was $4,247, for Ultra III you are looking at $5,604.
I got it and its one of the things I love most about the house (along with the 9' ceiling, hardwood floor and staircase, ensuite oasis, pain colour, and a whole bunch of other stuff, haha). That shelf unit is a perfect liquor cabinet and the pantry adds a tonne of storage space to an already generous kitchen.

What are the Ultra line of cabinets? Are they simply higher up the the upgrade chain from the Series I, II, etc. cabinets?
Is the banquette seating the window bench in the breakfast area? If so how much was that?
So the Extended bar and shelf unit can be ordered together? How much was that? (do you have a 34'?)
Its all one package, all of those things are part of the "Family Kitchen" upgrade, you get all of them or none of them.
Hmmm, I think the Ultra lines were the names used by the old cabinet maker who closed down so Mattamy had to switch to Aya. Those Ultra prices should be analogous to the Series numbers.
