The dentist I've had for my whole life is too far away now...and I'm looking for some local recommendations.

I don't have a lot of criteria, other than that it can't be like pulling teeth to get a decent appointment time. :D (Pardon the pun.)

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've always gone to Family Time Dental on Elgin Street in Cambridge. They are very good and getting a good appointment time has never been an issue. There website is http://www.familytimedental.com/.

I went to Dawson Dental, I don't recommend them as they don't do direct billing with the benefit plan and they performed services without checking to see if they were covered.

Anyone know of a nearby Dental office that bills directly to a benefit plan? Also a hygenist that is good with children and scared adults (me:o) is a must!

That's where we went and I don't like them either!!! They keep making appointments with us even though we tell them our insurance annual max is used up. My old dentist was so cautious about working with our insurance plan, even though it wasn't an awesome one. These guys don't care whether you go over and have to pay out of pocket.

I just started goingt o townline dentistry on townline and jamison parkway they are AMAZING!! my whole family goes there now....very clean facility, friendly, and just all around great service....benefits go through right away, no need to pay up front!! they even have tvs in each room for you when you are having work done. I'm pretty sure they are accepting new patients. they are right off the 401 in the tim hortons plaza
