I'm not an expert, but I think you can only do that in the ensuite - upgrade the soaker tub.

I would like to use a 50/50 Maybe poll the audience or phone a friend! :D
Actually I will have to agree with karens answer! I think it's only available in the ensuite! I know you can upgrade to a acrylic tub instead of steel but thats about it! Maybe to a jacuzzi but not sure about soaker tub such as a 5.0 or 6.0 as I dont think the main bathroom has the space to accomodate it!
Hi,
I would like to hear from other townhouse owners what they think of the soaker tub in the master.
It is just a regular tub a bit deeper......nothing fancy about it....lol
In addition, in the townhouse master, you cant get a separate shower stall. So, it would be a combo soaker tub with a shower.
I am wondering if it is worth the $1083.00 to upgrade to this.....

Probably not worth the price in a townhouse, especially if it's not separate from the shower. Sounds like a huge rip off to me. In my opinion your money is much better spent elsewhere.

it is an option to get a soaker tub in the master or main, however, most soaker tubs do not incude showers......don't know if this is the case for these homes. that will make or break my decision.

Like I said I don't think the main bathroom can accomodate a soaker tub with a shower! But ask the sales office for more info!
in a townhouse it is identical to a regular tub, just deeper.

The acrylic tub is not worth the 1100 bucks!!
If you price it out a home depot they start at 297!!
I know Mattamy will be putting in the 300 $ tub versus the higher priced ones for sure. The dimensions on them are the same a steel tubs except they are like 20 inches deep and not 8 or 12.
I want to know if they can delete my tub and shower in the master bath and tile a shower stall in its place??? That would be a great idea I think because the hespeler end unit has a bathroom at the front of the house with 3 large windows. That bathtub would be more for baths and not showers because you can enjoy the light while soaking i guess....lol. The master bath is the ideal place for the shower.

We have a Hespeler End and I asked Mattamy about having the seperate shower and tub. They said that it wasn't offered for the townhouses.

i thought the soaker tub option was an oval tub tiled on the side like the corner tub, but it turns out it isn't. That is why i wanted to know if it included the shower (not a sepertate shower, just a shower on top of the tub) sorry should have clarified that better. i read my book and saw that the soaker tub is differerent than the soaker tub offered in the oasis bathroom.
I though the soaker tub was more like this

i wasn't sure if you could have this with the shower on top. i know some of my friends do, but i wasn't sure about the mattamy homes....turns out it was a different kind of soaker tub altogether!!
Hi Shauun,
I keep going over my upgrade list.......lol.........Maybe i will forget the soaker in master and down the road get rid of tub for a nice stand up shower.....
Besides, I need to save money for my AC and humidifier in spring 2010...lol
[my possession is oct 2009, phase 6, southgate end]
