Hey Justmed.
We drove by your home last weekend when we were up there. It's looking good.
So the townhomes basements are framed out a bit for you?

LOL - that's a great door. Shouldn't that be taught in door hanging 101 - make sure it's right side up?

Way to instill confidence, Mattamy!

You have to look out for the mistakes they make because they are in a hurry. The upside down door is easy to spot ... what about the stuff you can't see?!

There was a person who had her house numbers placed upside down.

we've been on top of the build from the get go... they haven't missed anything behind the walls.

RIght now, I have a call in about a lack of dimmer switches but that's about it

thanks. all the painting in the house was done by yours truly... we got the colours from the bedding we chose, but went all designer like, lol.

funny thing is that the backsplash in the kitchen was the 'easiest' of the jobs done before we moved in.

thanks, yep, lots of work for 1 week but it was all worth it. we love how the nursery turned out. Couple things to put up, like shelves but its getting there.

we love it... so powerful. We would have never even known about it, but when we were picking I asked my buddy if he could change one thing / one thing he couldnt do without (he just moved into a new place) he said his toe kick, so we went with it and boy are we happy we did.

I'll just echo what everyone else is saying... the nursery is top notch.

thanks Dave. Now for our boy to get here... June 30 is the ETA:D

cant wait, he'll be our first.

sure Diane would love an excuse for another shower:D

whats a toe kick?

in the pic of the kitchen, below the cabinets around the sink, you see that black thing?

basically you sweep up the floor to that area, kick it open and wooosh... your central vac turns on and all the crumbs / dirt / your socks go away:D

The first one is so exciting. When I was pregnant with our son, we used to watch my stomach for hours instead of watching TV ...
