We got a picture of the progress beig made at the townhouse location! They broke ground on one block and were laying the parameters before they pour the foundation most likely next week as the foundation supports are on site!

Thought I would add some photos.
The 1st two are of the townhomes =)
Was going to go inside them until I saw workers on the roof :(
The 2nd is the most completed house in Phase 2 - Lot # 167
My house is still dirt, so I am taking pics of other homes lol

we went by yesterday. Ours has a framed in basement... and they didnt forget our washroom rough in... but nothing on the main level.
THey do have the walls on a trailer outside so we're thinking in the next few weeks we'll have alot more to look at.
Amazing the progress they've made in the few weeks it had been since we went

Justmed,
That is great to hear that you have a framed basement!
Our lot was released for construction on Sept 1st and we were told that we should have foundation by the end of September early October. I'm hoping they don't forget about our rough in and bigger windows!
We're going to try and visit the site as often as we can so that way we can catch any mistakes early on (Hopefully they don't make any!!)
It is very exciting to see the progress made!

we'll be heading out more and more for the framing parts and make sure we get the things like the door from the garage, plasma wall and the electrical boxes placed as asked for etc... so we'll be prepared for the walk through because once the drywall goes up you cant see whats behind those walls.

Hi Justmed.
I was telling my bf that I had read on other forums that other homeowners had gone to their sites quite regularly to make sure that they get everything that they paid for (And there was no surprises at the end!!)
I would also prefer to catch something early on then at the last minute and have them rush through afterwards to fix it.
And like you mentioned, once the drywall goes up, there is no way to know what is behind it!
I can't wait until our foundation is poured becuase then that means we should start to see framing shortly after =)
Looking forward to your pictures!
