Has anyone seen the layout for the new 43' model that was released at Mattamy. The house is approx 1700 sq ft with a double garage. Does anyone know the price?

If you know the name of the model try looking at the other mattamy sites on the website and it might be a model being built in another city as well. You can see the albany new 34 foot model on the alliston site

I saw the new 43 foot model at the sales office! I got the floor plans for it! For the cheap price it looks to me like it is all siding! I got the name of it in the car and will post it later! The main floor consists of a kitchen, breakfast area, greatroom and a 9X9 den! No actually dining room! upstairs is three bedrooms! It starts with a A Im sure but like I said cant remeber the name! it does have a double car garage! And the price I believe starts at 254,900 I think but Im sure thats for the one that looks like it all siding!

is anyone else a bit ticked off that they added this? I am very upset and actually thinking of writing a letter to head office. I think its outrageous that they would off this model now, and not have had it available for us to purchase. the house i bought is 200 square feet smaller, one car garage, which i will have to extend the driveway, i had to upgrade the kitchen, which this model comes with the one i want, and the rooms are all bigger.....for the same price i bought at!!!! i would have for sure gone for this one if i knew I had the choice. Also speaking for those who bought townhomes, how can they offer a detach for the same price as a townhome? this is rediculous. I thought Mattamy was supposed to be a great builder that everyone is happy with, but I am not happy at all. any one feel the same?

I see your point! I dont see what they will be able to do though! Doubt they will let you change models now! I bought the Victoria a 2042 square foot detached on a 34 foot lot! We like the size of it as it had the fourth bedroom! I really wanted a double car garage as well and didnt get it! If the Amberfield was available when I bought i would of strongly considered it! But thats the breaks! The Cheaper price looks like it is for a all siding package! I would rather get the half and half! But dont get my wrong a detached home double car garage and a 9 foot bigger lot for less then I paid would appeal to me but then i would have to give up 342 square feet as well!:)
Still for the price you get basic stuff in any home! If you want any luxaries you have to pay for the upgrades either now or later so the price would increase more but Im sure I could of still got the Amberfield with what I want for less then i paid!
Oh well still happy with what I got although its a necessity to widen my driveway to the property line!

Is there a townhome that is selling for $254,000? What comparison are you referring to?

i think you are mixing up the 43 foot lots with the two small 34 foot ones available! The Alton is only 1056 square feet and it starts at 214,990, the Albany starts at 229,990 and its a 34 foot lot with a house that is 1264 square feet!
There are no towns that are 254,000

I mean the new 43' is 254,000 which is roughly what i paid for the hillcrest, and the 2 smaller 34's are comparable to the towns.

I noticed the Mattamy site has been updated with the newer models. The new 43' model , Amberfield is listed at 269,000 (for the model with all siding). Seems like a huge price increase since Style thought the price was 254,000.

This frustrates me as well, but it is what it is. We probably would've considered as well at the time. We were originally going for the Thompson, but then went to the Grand Valley cuz of the double-car garage - that was most important to us coming from a townhouse that we loved, but only had a single-car garage. This truly is the luck of the draw when you buy. Same goes for resale homes really... you can find a home you like and then months later there will be something else you're interested in.
This model is definitely a great buy though and has a great layout. Not too keen that it only has one bath upstairs, but overall nice open concept on a 43' lot with 2 car garage... attractive.
I'd write in myself, but not sure what they can do and to be honest, I'm loving our Grand Valley even more now that it's coming to life. The whole siding thing can be a downer too... that's what we got on the Grand Valley cuz of the elevation with the balcony. We made that compromise, but chose the nicest siding/brick combo (like you Style!).
Good luck with your ventures with head office.

Ouch thats rough! I could of sworn it was alot cheaper then that! Still its a great price for a 43 foot lot anyway! At least I think so! Would of been nice if it was available when we bought but oh well! We can live and be happy with what we got!:)

the price they advertise includes the "inventory lot" rebate of 15000$
I asked them what lots are included, they told me it's the lots on Baldwin dr in Phase 3, all other lots don't have the rebate
